Our Tenancy Sustainment Officers (TSO) Lidia, Bilal and Sophie have so far this year (since April 2023) supported customers to gain £375k in unclaimed benefits. See below how our TSO have helped residents in different situations.
“I recently helped a tenant get a Housing Benefit overpayment of over £5k reduced by £4,633 and ongoing Housing Benefit entitlement increased by £1,096 per year”.
“I supported a tenant who had to leave their job due to a deterioration in their mental health. I helped them to obtain their medical records, accompanied them to their Universal Credit Limited Capability for Work assessment and, as a result, they were awarded Universal Credit Limited Capability for Work. This gave them the necessary breathing space to retrain and change career”.
“I recently helped a customer to apply for council tax support, Discretionary Housing Payment support, and to apply for a CSCS to help them get back into work”.
