Intermediate Market Rent

Intermediate market rent is designed to help first-time buyers save for a deposit to purchase a home within the next five years.

It gives you the opportunity to rent a home that is being let at less than the market rate. You do not have to be an existing Rosebery resident to apply.

Applicants must be registered with the Help to Buy Agent prior to tenancy commencement.

To ensure that prospective tenants can afford the cost of initially renting the property, the annual rent payable should not be more than 60% of the prospective tenant’s annual net income. Net income should be assumed to be 74% of gross annual income.

Priority is also given to applicants who live or work in the area the property is located in.
