Did you know?
That an average person breathes in around 14,000 litres of air every day, and with every breath, we release a small amount of water vapour.
This builds up to around 400g of water vapour created a day. People who are active will breathe out more.
Over the course of a day, do you?
• Drink 8 cups of coffee or tea
• Boil a pan of water for 10 minutes
• Take a shower
• Use the dishwasher
• Wash and dry 2kg of clothing
• Breathe normally
If so, you will contribute to around 2.5kg of water, which is the equivalent of 10 glasses of water, into the air.
Without good ventilation in your home condensation will settle on windows, walls, and other cool surfaces and can quickly lead to damp and mould.
