Deborah Pike steps down as Rosebery Chief Executive

Our Chief Executive, Deborah Pike, has taken the decision to step down from Rosebery Housing Association and has retired from the end of July 2022. During her 12½ years at Rosebery’s helm, Deborah made an outstanding contribution to the organisation and its overall leadership and direction.

Following the merger of Peabody and Catalyst on 1 April 2022, Town and Country Housing and Rosebery Housing Association are now both operating subsidiaries of the new Peabody Group.

Rosebery and Town and Country Housing have complementary operational areas and strategic goals and they are now looking at an opportunity to form a combined regional entity within the Peabody Group. As part of this process, the CEO of Town and Country, Bob Heapy, has now been appointed as CEO for Rosebery, in addition to his role at Town and Country.

Rosebery and Town and Country see themselves very much as community-based organisations, both with strong local roots. Bringing them together would provide an opportunity to expand and amplify the locality model that the Peabody Group is progressing, to create a strong regional force within the Group.

During the course of the coming year, Rosebery and Town and Country will continue to explore how we may bring our businesses closer together and, subject to all necessary consultation and consents, we may be able to join together as early as 2023. In the meantime, we remain fully committed to serving our local residents and making a positive difference to their lives and we will continue to do so.
