Introduction to Counselling – a free online workshop

This short workshop, via zoom, will introduce you to the role of a counsellor and talk through the different types of counselling. It will teach you active listening skills, how to maintain boundaries and the importance of self-care while helping others. Accredited courses are also available in the Autumn.

Turn Your Hobby into a Business (free workshop online)

This comprehensive workshop covers the different types of businesses and the financial and legal responsibilities of being self-employed. It tells you how to carry out effective market research and how to write a professional business and marketing plan.

Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, including Refugees (online)

This short course, via zoom, will cover the following:

  •       Characteristics that may make an adult vulnerable
  •       Different types of abuse
  •       Indicators of abuse
  •       Reporting procedures and where to go for advice
  •       How to protect vulnerable adults from harm
