How to report ASB

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) affects us all and it’s everyone’s responsibility to help in preventing it.

Resolve is leading the way in ASB Awareness Week, which is also supported by the Home Office, Local Government Association (LGA), National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), and the National Fire Chiefs’ Council (NFCC).

YouGov research, commissioned by the Resolve organisation, revealed a 94% lack of awareness of the Community Trigger. Only 2% said they fully comprehend their rights. See below for further information on the Community Trigger and how you can use it.

In the past three years, 57% of people who saw or experienced ASB said they didn’t tell anyone about it but the police received 1.3 million reports of ASB incidents. How many incidents would be reported if more people followed up and made them known. It is a shared responsibility to ensure we report instances of ASB.

Our focus is on supporting ASB Awareness Week 2022! Please keep an eye on our socials for more information or visit the Resolve website to find out more about this initiative.

The Community Trigger

This is a priority area for our residents and we are making every effort to eradicate ASB from our community. You may feel that you have nowhere to turn for help; you may have reported ASB but feel that no-one is listening and nothing is happening to prevent it. In which case, the Community Trigger may provide useful help and support to you or anyone you know who may be experiencing ASB.

Here are three ways you can report anti-social behaviour to us:
