Our Tenancy Audit

As part of our drive to improve services to our residents, we will be carrying out tenancy audits in all of our properties.

The tenancy audit is a survey which involves us gathering some details about you, our tenant. These audits help us to make sure that we are providing the right services and support. The visit will not take long, only around 20 minutes, and must be carried out.

The audits will be completed over a two year period so you may see an increase of Rosebery staff in your area. Any staff member of Rosebery carrying out the audits will have staff ID cards for identification.

So you fully understand why we are starting this audit, and what you need to do, please see our FAQs below.

Why are you carrying out a tenancy audit?

We are carrying out tenancy audits to check that we have updated contact details for you. We also want to check who is living at the property.

What happens during the audit?

During the audit, we will check to see if the information we hold against you is up to date, and will ask you some other questions too. We will take a look in each room of the property to assess the property condition.

What will I need to show/have with me?

Tenants of the property and occupants over the age of 18 living with you will need to show photo identification, we will accept the following:

  • Passport or National Identity Card
  • Drivers licence
  • Residence permit, Immigration and Nationality Directorate
  • Bus pass
  • National Insurance number

We can only accept original documents.

For future verification of your identity and to help prevent tenancy fraud, will also need to take a photograph of each tenant present.

What will you do with the information that I provide?

When we gather personal information it is always for the right reasons and we are committed to keeping your details safe. The information that we collect as part of your tenancy audit will be stored until your next tenancy audit visit is carried out, unless your tenancy ends before then. Our commitment to your privacy is important to us and we want you to know that we always treat your information with great care. For reference, please see our Privacy Policy below.
