Rosebery’s Commitment to Refer

placeholder

Here at Rosebery Housing Association, as part of the National Housing Federation’s campaign, we have pledged our Commitment to Refer. From Monday 1 October, the Duty to Refer came into effect as part of the Homelessness Reduction Act. This is a duty placed on statutory agencies not housing associations, however it is important to do our part in supporting people at risk of homelessness.

The Commitment to Refer is a voluntary commitment that a housing association will refer an individual or household, with their consent, to a local authority for local help and support if they are homeless or threatened with homelessness. We always try to support our residents in maintaining their tenancy, and we provide support and advice on money, budgeting, benefits and employment.

If you would like support from us, please call 01372 814 000 or email customerexperience@rosebery.org.uk.
