What is Sheltered Housing?
It's a home of your own where you will be able to get as much or as little help as you need. There is also an alarm call system that's monitored 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Who is Sheltered Housing for?
Our Sheltered Housing is for older people over 60, but these are not care homes. The people who live in our Sheltered Housing schemes still lead independent and active lives. When new residents move in they will agree with Cherchefelle HA, who provide the support service, exactly how much help they will need. This can be changed at any time if they need more or less support as personal circumstances change.
What are the flats like?
The flats are self contained, so residents have their own bathroom and kitchen. They are unfurnished, so they can bring their own things and make the flat a true home. We do provide cookers and fridges, and the apartments all have carpet. All the Sheltered Housing has excellent communal facilities, such as laundries and lounges. There are also rooms where guests can stay for a small charge.
Where are the sheltered homes based?
We have three properties providing Sheltered Housing.

How to apply
To apply for sheltered housing at any of our schemes you'll need to register on Epsom & Ewell Borough Council’s Housing Register. If you're already a Rosebery resident you can register on the transfer list. If you think you would be suitable for ‘Extra Care’ housing you'll need to be referred to the Extra Care Housing Panel by your care manager or key worker.
