More than just a landlord

We see ourselves as more than just a landlord and we want to help you in as many ways as we can. To make this happen we partner with various Councils, Schools, Charities and the Police to give you advice and training on things such as:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Employment and Training
  • Reducing crime and feeling safe in your neighbourhood
  • Activities for young people

We work with the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) to bring you valuable debt advice helping you get to grips with your finances. This is a really exciting area of activity for us because it offers you real skills and opportunities, such as:

  • Job Training and Job Search skills to unemployed residents
  • Brain Gymnastics, Arts + Crafts for sheltered scheme residents
  • Silver Surfer IT training for senior citizens
  • Brighter Futures fund, which is a bursary fund that allows residents to receive training

The Workers' Educational Association (WEA) also run many part time courses for adult learners, including IT training, arts and crafts, first aid and many more. We all know that the young one’s get a bit bored from time to time so we try to offer them both informative and inspiring activities. Some of the things that we have been involved in are:

There are Community Arts Projects currently taking place.  

There are no Community Impact activities currently taking place.

The Court Community Partnership is a resident forum that meets twice a month to talk about and try to sort out any local issues. The forum is open to all residents of Court ward and meetings are well attended. The next meeting is on 19th January at Norman Colyer Court from 7pm.

Police Panels enable residents to discuss any local concerns they may have about crime and anti-social behaviour. The next dates for the neighbourhood panels are as follows:
