How do I Pay my Rent?


There are many ways that you can pay your rent. Here's a list of how you can do this:


By direct debit

We can set up a direct debit over the phone, and you can pay weekly, fortnightly, four weekly, monthly, quarterly or even yearly.

To do this, simply call the Customer Services Team on 01372 814 000 or Freephone 0800 068 7664.

If you don’t want to set this up over the phone then we can send you out a form to complete and to post back to us.



Over the phone

 
We can also take payments by debit or credit card over the phone by calling the customer services team on 01372 814 000 or Freephone 0800 068 7664.

At reception


We can accept cheques and payment by debit or credit card at reception – please note that we no longer accept cash at reception.

Allpay

Every resident should have an Allpay card; you can pay your rent at any PayPoint outlet i.e. at the post office.

You can also call them on 0844 557 8321.

If you have access to a computer, you can pay online by visiting www.allpayments.net or click the button below.


Or if you have an Apple i-phone or an Android smart phone, you can download the free ‘Allpay’ application where you can pay your rent on the go. For more information click here



Standing Order


Standing orders can be set up using our bank details and your reference number; you’ll need to let your bank know the amount you need to pay and how often you’ll be paying i.e. weekly, monthly.

If you need to make changes to the amount i.e. if your rent amount changes, then you’ll need to contact your bank and do this.

Cheque payment


You can also send us a cheque to Rutland House, 57-59 South Street, Epsom, Surrey KT18 7PR.

It should be made payable to ‘Rosebery Housing Association Limited’, and you must put your name, address and tenancy reference on the back of the cheque.



What happens if I'm in arrears?


If your in arrears then we’ll start sending you letters, if you don’t contact us to let us know why then we may take you to court where you could end up loosing your home.

To stop this happening please call your Neighbourhood Officer on 01372 814 000 or Freephone 0800 068 7664 to make an arrangement to clear your arrears.

Housing Benefit


If you’re not already receiving Housing Benefit, ring your local council (listed below) where they can talk to you and see if you can get any help towards your rent.

Statements


We send you statements every 3 months - this isn’t an arrears letter and is for your benefit.

If you get Housing Benefit please note that they pay in arrears and this may not show at the time your statement is sent, but if you have any questions then please call the Customer Services Team on 01372 814 000 or Freephone 0800 068 7664.
