New Build Home Buy, also known as Shared Ownership is where a property is sold on a part buy - part rent basis.

Initially you would by a 40% share of the equity in the property, increasing your share when you want to and can afford to.  Rent is charged on the part of the property that you do not own and this reduces when you buy a greater share of the property.
